Dear student,

If  you got allotted any seat in csab special round 1 of seat allocation, then you will have the option of SURRENDER and NOT PARTICIPATE in SPECIAL ROUND 2.
After exercising this option, your current allotted seat from CSAB SPECIAL ROUND 1 or RETAINED SEAT FROM JOSAA-2020 will be CANCELLED .  And you will NOT be eligible for next round of seat allotment. In simple words, you have exited from the seat allocation process without any seat in hand, i.e, you will also lost your josaa seat.

So, be careful when using this option.
