The 50th percentile marks can only be told once NEET result has been declare, since it's the marks of the last student falling in list of first 50% of total candidates.

As per previous years  trends the 50th percentile marks has been not so high, so, if you want just to qualify the NEET, you should aim for 150+ marks.

Note: even if you qualify the NEET , you might not be eligible for getting a medical seat in country.

Percentile tells you about your performance relative to others and before the results it's not possible to determine it.

Percentile is calculated by taking the product of your marks x 100 and divide this product by the highest mark obtained by the top ranker.
This is how you calculate your percentile based on the marks.
50th percentile means that your rank is in top 50% of total candidates. This is subject to variation since none of us know how much will be the highest marks.

50th percentile means that your rank is in top 50% of total candidates. This much you need to score in order to qualify. Please note that mere qualifying doesn't guarantee you a seat.
It can only be determined after exam and results what would be the score to achieve 50th percentile. Last year it was 13 out of 720.

Hey!

The score will depend upon various factors. The level of paper this year, no. Of students participating and their performance will determine what the cut off will be.

Looking at previous trends you can expect a cut off between 200-350. Although nothing can be asserted as such.

The percentile depends on the performance of your co atudents who appear for the exams .. 50th percentile is someone who score around 200-300.. so try scoring more than that. You will get a good college only if you score above 500. All the best :)

Ideally, you calculate percentile by taking the product of your marks x 100 and divide this product by the highest mark obtained by the top ranker.
This is how you calculate your percentile based on the marks.
This is subject to variation since none of us know how much will the highest score be this year.
Also, scoring 50 percentile of the marks does not guarantee you a seat into some medical college.
