The admission to Ph.D programmes are done on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have passed the UGC NET/CSIR-NET/JRF examination, or the GATE/SLET/Teacher Fellowship, or the M.Phil. examination are exempted from the entrance test conducted by the university. Further, they have to participate in the counselling round.
