For taking admission in MSC  astrophysics candidate has to to pass 12th standard examination with science subject and had to score at least 60% marks and have a graduate degree in the respective subject with at least 60% marks. Candidate has to qualify ZEST examination where candidate rank should be in all India level 1to 250. M tech astrophysics courses offered by Indian Institute of astrophysics Bangalore with the joint collaboration of Calcutta University.
