It depends upon the quality and popularity of the college /university .

For Government college - fees just around 10k per month -40- per year ..

But private college I will be 2-3 time the government college fees.

Fees varies from college to college .

But avearge you have to pay around 2L to 5.5L 5.5 year ..depend upon the quality of the education of the Institute.

The fees for engineering course will be varying from college to college & the branch which u want to choose.

I am currently doing my B.tech in ece from VIT,Vellore.My tution fees for an year would be around 2 lakhs & hostel + mess would be around 1 lakh.

I got my seat in first category...As the category varies....the amount of tution fees increases.

So,on an average it would be between 2-3 lakhs per year (without hostel & mess)

Every college fees is different.
There are some top private college whose fees is nearly 1.3 lac in first year. This is only tution fees and hostel fees makes nearly 2 lac.
You can take average of 4.5 lac tution fees of private college of four years. And if you live outside thenyou can save hostel fees.

The private colleges of engineering fee ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs ,depending up on the university .
If the colleges are acredited with NAAC A+ grade the fee structure may increase above 3.5 lakhs too
