I don't think that if someone graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT aspire for government jobs because there are many private firms out there who offers very high packages therefore it is not a wise decision to go for a low paying jobs in government sector because on average salary in government jobs railway for below contract with private jobs in Computer Science and Engineering
