For SC category students, the closing rank for MBBS in government colleges under the All India Quota usually goes up to around 1,37,000 to 1,40,000 . This means you’ll need a NEET score of about 550 to 575 marks to stay in the safe zone. These ranks can change slightly every year depending on the difficulty level and seat availability.

State quota ranks are often different and may go higher or lower based on the competition in that region. Private or deemed universities may have higher closing ranks but often come with higher fees. So, keep an eye on official counselling updates for the most accurate details.

On May 4, 2025, the NEET 2025 exam was administered.  The test was administered in a single day and shift using the paper-pencil-based modality (PBT).
On June 14, 2025, NTA released the results and the NEET 2025 cutoff.  The NEET cutoff percentiles have not changed, despite the NEET 2025 cutoff score being lowered.
