Candidates who are suffering from 40% or more disability come under PwD and are eligible for the reservation for the same. Here is a list of disabilities that are considered:
Blindness and low vision
Deaf and hard of hearing
Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy
Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness,
Multiple disabilities
Other specified disabilities
To claim the reservation, first of all you will have to chose this option while applying for JEE Mains. At the time of counselling, you will have to give the certificate along with other supporting documents, provide that you have any of the disabilities. If you are unable to prove this, then you will have to leave the reservation.
