BCA is a bachelor degree in computer application which is an undergraduate course of 3 years. B.tech is a bachelors degree technology which is available in different subjects like mechanical engineering, computer science engineering, information technology, electrical engineering and many more. It is a four year undergraduate professional course. BCA is a degree. If you have an MCA then you are considered to be equivalent with the BTech holder. Both courses are great and have greater career opportunities. BCA courses offered by top institute and also other colleges and Universities. Admissions are given on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University separately and also on the basis of merit marks obtained in 12th. You can get admission for b.tech with your performance in JEE mains and also there are universities or colleges that offers admission on the basis of merit. But usually engineering courses or BTech admission us through JEE mains.

You can try getting admission for BCA at normal colleges with minimal fees on the basis of your 12th marks. You don't have to get disappointed that you got less marks in JEE. Because admission to these courses doesn't depend only on those marks.
