Hello Ajaya,

The BSc in Agriculture is a 3 year undergraduate course while BTech I'm agricultural engineering is a 4 year engineering course. Technically speaking, BSc is more about theory and learning about principles of agriculture. Whereas, BTech is more about practical and engineering aspects of agriculture. Career wise, both these options have a wide range of jobs. But, BTech in agricultural engineering have higher scope for job then BSc in Agriculture.

  • BSc Agriculture helps in building expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora.
  • BTech in Agricultural engineering is a program which teaches the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills and keeping industry requirements in place.
