Bachelor’s degree (gen) and B.Sc. Bachelor’s degree (Hons), are both academic degrees given to undergraduate students.

Difference between B.Sc (gen) & B.Sc (hon)

B.Sc (Gen) is an academic degree, designed to provide the students with foundation knowledge possible for a science-based career. It provides a broad foundation in the sciences, with a special focus on multidisciplinarit.

B.Sc (Hons) is much more specialized as compared to the B.Sc (General) degree, and academically. It helps in building an advanced professional or academic career.

If you want to study any one of the main sciences (eg. chemistry, physics, mathematics etc.) in detail, it is advisable to go for a B.Sc (Hons) course. But if you want a more balanced and multi-disciplinary approach, it is better to pursue a B.Sc (General) course for under-graduate studies.

Here are some of the top colleges you can prefer:

Good Luck!

Difference Between Bsc and Bsc Hons. A Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree (Hons), are both academic degrees given to undergraduate students. A Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree is considered to be superior to the Bachelor of Science degree. The Bsc (Hons) is considered to be, academically, more standard than the ordinary Bsc degree.

Hope this helps!!!
