what is the difference between bsc general and bsc honours

Hello,

Both the degree are offered to undergraduate program. But the basic difference between them is as follows:

B.sc general provides the students with a lot of academic/foundation knowledge for a career in science. Bsc (hons) is considered to be more academically strong as compared to bsc General. Both of these degree take almost same time to complete (some places bsc hons take 4 years to compete). The syllabus is extra and in depth in bsc (hons). Dissertation is mandatory in Hons. As compared to Bsc General.
