the students who have qualified in JEE MAIN can apply for NIT'S not for IIT's. for IIT admission they should give JEE ADVANCE.the education standard in IIT'S is considered far better than NIT but they have quite same educational programs. the infrastructure wise also IIT's are better than NIT's.

the  no.of cultural and sport fests in both institutes will be same.placement wise both are excellent ones.
