Hey,

The major difference between the two is that Masters in Mass Communication focuses on teaching the theory and reasoning behind the subjects and Masters in Journalism and Mass Media is more bent towards practical knowledge of spreading a message in a mass. Mass Media is a part of Mass Communication.

Though the end result and career options of both of them might be the same. You can pursue any of them based on what interests you more theory or practical.

I hope this information was helpful.
