What is the difference between mechanical engineering and mechatronics engineering for B.E.?

Mechanical engineering deals with machine, system or process by using principles of motion, energy and force and mechatronics  combines principles of mechanics, electronics and computing to improve technical systems and to create new equipment with built-in 'artificial intelligence'.
