Hey!

In temporary campus or transit campus, the classes for students are held in some other campus of a nearby institute. Usually, students have to travel everyday to that transit campus for lectures and practicals. This is done when the IIT campus has not been fully constructed yet.

In permanent campus, on the other hand, the classes are held in the already constructed IIT campus itself. All the facilities and hostel accommodation is available in the campus.

Hope it helps!

Those additional facilities are not available as such, if there is no space in the "under construction" campus. It depends, again, on the institute itself.
