Most of the institutes have a minority quota in the college where a certain number of seats are reserved for a particular community. It can be a religious community or a linguistic community.there are concessions for every student belonging to the reserved category in every institute provided they have a valid Caste certificate. Such a reservation for Christian minority groups is reserved in the name of Christian Minority seats.

For general category there is no such reservation, the admission and selection is done purely based on merit in qualifying exams if any.
