Civil engineering deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.

While Civil Environmental Engineering is the branch of concerned with the application of scientific and engineering principles for protection of human populations from the effects of adverse environmental factors. it comes under civil engineering.

And if we talk about the scope then Civil engineering has wide scope in planning, execution and maintenance of fundamental structures & the demand is increasing day by day.
