It is advisable to work hard to get rank below 30k so that you can get admission in decent NITs. Also, with 1-1.5L you can only try for private colleges, list is below provided -

If you get a rank between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh you can take admission in private colleges. To check the list of private colleges you can refer below link
