Although, CSE and CSE (specialisation in data science) are kinda same with many similarities but data science is only applicable to analytical field whereas Cse is applicable to several software related fields.

CSE is mainly used for advanced growth of technology,whereas data science is the management of data and data analysis.

Cse with specialization is ofcourse very good but it will allow you to work in a particular field whereas Normal CSE will have many fields as option for working.
