Artificial intelligence and machine learning is a specialization in Computer science and engineering which can be understood as solid foundation in the values and technologies that underlie many aspects of Artificial Intelligence, including logic, knowledge representation, probabilistic models, and machine learning. All the basic subjects will be common for all students but in specialization you will need to study extra subjects and gain extra credits.

See after first two semesters, you will be taught more about specialized topics and get more exposure about it. But I can make sure that you will know all about the computer science and engineering i.e programing and coding and will be eligible for all sort of placement programs and opportunities.
