Biotechnology for undergraduate is for 3 years and many collges across India have this programme. Btech in biotechnology is a 4 years programme and this too is available in many colleges.

After UG in Biotechnology you can go for Phd in biotechnology or you can change your stream.

JAM examination is available for securing a seat in Top colleges.

At undergraduate level, there are two courses which offer biotechnology- Bsc(H) Biotechnology and Btech Biotechnology. Bsc is a 3 year course whereas Btech is 4 year professional course. After undergraduation you can do masters in Biotechnology either Msc or Mtech in Biotechnology.
