Hi!

There is a fix percentage which the board requires in order to get a seat in a IIT or NIT. 

The minimum percent for General/NC-OBC is 75% whereas for SC/ST/PWD it's 65%.

Percentage below this stats, the person fails to get a seat in the respective IIT or NIT  even though he/she qualifies to do so.
