Here is the eligibility criteria for GATE 2022 Examination which is expected to be held on 5,6,12,13,17th of February,2022 .

• You should be in your pre-final or final year of your engineering/technology undergraduate or postgraduate Course perhaps you are eligible to appear even after your graduation and there is no restrictions to the number of attempts you can take.
• No Age limit .
• Both Indian and international students are eligible to take the examination.

Candidates are suggested that before starting the application process they must ensure that he/she meets the educational eligibility criteria of GATE 2022. Candidates must note that GATE 2022 eligibility criteria will also vary depending upon the paper they are appearing for. For the reference of the candidates mentioned below is the detailed GATE eligibility criteria 2022.

General Eligibility Criteria of GATE 2022 :-

Nationality criteria -

• Indian nationality candidates will be eligible

• Candidates from other than India will be also eligible

Academic Qualification -

• Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject.
• Candidates in pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to appear for GATE 2022
• Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India: Must be currently in the 3rd or higher years or completed their Bachelor’s degree (duration: at least 3 years) in Engineering / Technology / Science / Arts / Commerce.

Note :- There is no age limit.
