What is the general procedure for the GATE exam?

All qualified applicants will take the GATE test online (Computer Based Test (CBT)) at various authorized centers. GATE candidates can only write ONE or TWO topic papers. TWO topic paper combinations must be chosen from the GATE conducting body's list of paper combinations.
