What is the eligibility criteria for nit,iit ? Also these college take marks in pcm or in all subjects ??

Hello student,

If you are a general category candidate then you have to score atleast 75% aggregate marks in your state board but if you are SC/ST candidate then you need only 65% in your state board to be eligible for admission in any of the IITs or NITs based upon your jee score.

The eligibility criteria for admission into NITs or IITs is that a candidate needs to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. The 75% is an aggregate percentage in all subjects and not just Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
