Hello aspirant,

First of all sorry that I cannot answer to the your question until i get to know about which college and the stream you want.

But here i wil explain about getting an seat for engineering in top reputed college. There are different types of entrance examination that you can appear to get into an engineering college.

But the simple the most known examination for engineering are JEE :

First Non-medical students apply for JEE Entrance exam for taking admission in the best colleges.Second After the JEE entrance results, top-ranked students qualify for JEE advance exam. Now those students qualify JEE advance they apply for the counseling in the top colleges. Students give the preferences of the Branch and Institute in which they want admission. After counseling results students who are allotted seats are asked to pay the admission fee by visiting the institute they've been alotted.

Hope this information helps!!
