Here is the exam pattern for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for class 9th

• There are 5 sections namely Mathematics, Social Studies, Intelligence, English and General Science
• In Mathematics there will be 50 questions. Each question carries 4 marks. Total marks are 200
• In English there will be 25 questions. Each question carries 2 marks. The total marks are 50.
• In intelligence there will be 25 questions. Each question carries 2 marks. The total marks are 50.
• In general science there will be 25 questions. Each question carries 2 marks. The total marks are 50.
• Social studies there will be 25 questions. Each question carries 2 marks. The total marks are 50.
• Total marks  for all sections are 500.

Candidates belonging to general category must score minimum 40% of total score that is minimum 200 marks out of 500 to qualify and 25% of marks in each subject. There is no qualifying score for SC/ST category candidates.
