What is the estimated percentile to get any NIT college and is there any free seat for getting 78.9 percentile in Jan jee 2019

Hello shankar.

Well,with percentile we can't estimate any cutoff for NITs because it can cause alot of mess but can only be done with the help of rank.You can predict your rank with the formula rank=(100-percentile)*874469/100.After calculating you rank,you can then predict college based on it.I don't think you can any NIT based on 78.9 percentile and also there is no free seat for any such percentile.Hope this helps.

I got 1,83,779 rank according to your formula is it useful for other private colleges

yes,you can predict colleges based on this rank from https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor but remember,this rank is subject to change based in your april mains score and the number of students giving exam.
