A candidate must be a citizen of India.

The candidate has to apply from Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Statics and Biology at 10 + 2 level.

The minimum marks that a candidate should score to qualify in the exam are said to the WBJEE Cut off marks. In general, the officials of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will determine the cut off marks based on the number of candidates appeared for the test, a number of seats available and also the previous year cut off, the toughness of the question paper.

The merit list holds the names of the highest mark candidates in the test. So, all the candidates can know whether they are qualified for the next level or not by checking the merit list.
