What's bond amount on discontinuation?

Please read the answer above ,I have metioned bond amount on discontinuation.

Why this amount is taken?

Every college has this policy , that if you dicontinue after taking admission ,you need to pay the bond fees. Sometimes colleges have a bond where after completing your studies you need to serve for a given amount of time. If failed to do so ,you pay bond. So be careful before choosing college and read all rules and regulations.
