Students are graded as follows in the MBOSE HSSLC exams :

• A: 75% and above

• B: 60% to 74%

• C: 50% to 59%

• D: 35% to 49%

The MBOSE grading system evaluates student's performance as follows :

91-100 : A1 (Excellent)

81-90 : A2  (Very Good)

71-80 : B1  (Good)

61-70 : B2  (Above Average)

51-60 : C1  (Average)

41-50 : C2  (Below Average)

33-40 : D  (Pass)

Below 33 : F  (Fail)

Passing marks: 33% in each subject. Results are also classified into divisions:

1st Division  : 60% and above

2nd Division  : 45% - 59%

3rd Division  : 33% - 44%
