JEE is a national level engineering entrance exam for admission to some of the leading technical institutes of the country. This exam is at undergraduate level and is divided into two parts - JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

Candidates will first have to appear in JEE Main and qualify it. For these candidates admission will be open to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs (all three are national level institutes) and many other private and state level institutes. 

For candidates who qualify in JEE Main with ranks upto 2,24,000 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. For candidates who qualify in JEE Advanced will get admission to IITs, the prestigious most engineering institutes of the country.
