What is the kind of career counselling that Chinmaya Mission Trust does so that their students can make more informed decisions?

We have a system in some of our schools where teachers mentor the children. A group of children are given to a teacher and the teacher talks to them and find out about their passion, likes, etc. so that gives an idea about where the child is more inclined and then we also have program where professional people come and talk to the children and also we take the aptitude test, make students aware about the courses, entrance exams, and other details through the career counselling cell that is organised in our school. We also talk to the parents. We have quite a number of students going abroad to study also.

We give complete guidance to the children and parents but actually I also feel that a stronger foundation has to happen at a younger age where we need to encourage children to do whatever they want. The more the schools focus on the studies, examinations, academics only we will not be able to expose children to liberal arts and other avenues at all.
