24th September, 2021 is the last date to submit GATE application form without any late fee charges,
the registration for GATE 2022 statred from 2nd September, 2021 online on the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in,  the GATE 2022 exam will be conducted on 5th February, 6th February, 12th February and 13th February, the exam is conducted in Various PG and research courses such as for admission In ME, MTech, PhD, and PSU recruitment.

Examination mode will be online mode and the exam duration will be of 180 minutes (3 hours), exam is conducted once in a year, the exam is conducted at 195 exam centers in India, there are 29 numbers of GATE paper, each question paper is of 65 marks, and the total marks of the exam are 100 marks, the GATE year is valid for three years.
