Sri Venkateswara University was established in 1954. The university offers various UG, PG, Doctoral and Distance courses in various stream of Engineering, Arts, Literature, Science, Computer etc. through its various affiliated colleges.

Admission to this university is based on entrance exam called AP EAMCET. Application form dates was February 28, 2018 and last date for application was march 29th, 2018. Exam was conducted from april 22 - 25th, 2018.
