SVU Tirupati Admission- PG Courses

Sri Venkateswara University offers various postgraduate programmes in the fields of Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Education and so on. SVU Tirupati admissions are offered to PG programmes such as M.B.A, M.Sc, L.L.M, M.A., M.Com, M.Lib.I.Sc, M.C.A, M.Pharma and P.G.D. For admission to all of the PG courses except for M.B.A and M.C.A programmes, candidates have to appear for an entrance test- SVUCET, administered by Sri Venkateswara University. SVU Tirupati admission in M.B.A and M.C.A programmes is made through an entrance test- APICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) conducted by the university.

SVU Tirupati Admission Procedure- PG courses except for M.B.A and M.C.A

• Candidates have to submit the application on the official website of the university.

• Candidates should qualify the Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test (SVUCET).

• Candidates who are eligible have to register for a counselling process.

• Final admission will be based on participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

SVU Tirupati Admission Procedure- M.B.A and M.C.A

• Candidates have to apply for APICET.

• Candidates should qualify the APICET conducted by Shri Venkateshwara University and APICET counselling is also a part of the admission process.

• Later the eligible candidates should register on the SVU official website for the counselling process.

• Final admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Documents Required for SVU Tirupati Admission Procedure

At the time of Certificate Verification at DOA S.V.University, Tirupati, the following original documents should be submitted by the candidate: 

• SVUCET Rank card and Hall Ticket.

• Marks statements and Provisional/Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination.

• Transfer and Conduct certificates.

• SSC and Intermediate pass certificates.

• Two Passport size photographs.

• Study certificates from IX class to the qualifying examination.

• Caste certificate in original from the Tahsildar in case of SC/ST/BC candidates or permanent caste certificate.

• White Ration Card / Income certificate from the Tahsildar (for those who wish to apply for Scholarship/ fee concession). 

• Fee concession if eligible, will not be given if an income certificate is not submitted.

• Relevant certificate in case of physically challenged /extracurricular activities (NCC/NSS/Games & Sports / Cultural Activity) category. 

• Discharge certificate and service certificate of the parent in case of a child of an armed person.

• Residence Certificate of the parent for stay in the state of A.P. from Tahsildar in case of candidates, who have studied outside A.P./ carried out private study. 

• Migration certificate (for other University candidates).
