To get an admission in BDS in govt or semi Government colleges one should score above 460. The cutoff varies form state to state as well as category to category. A general candidate should have a score above 460 whereas Obc candidate should score around 440 ,SC St category candidate can get a admission on 400+ marks.

The cutoffs vary every year. For OBC category, a score of 450+ is enough to get a government or semi-government college for BDS. In some states, it might be lower.
