KVPY exam difficulty level is comparatively lower than JEE Mains. Competition level is also lower than JEE Mains in KVPY aptitude test. KVPY exam contains questions based on NCERT curriculum. One can easily crack it by studying NCERT books. But in case of JEE Mains, a student need to prepare more than NCERT.

However, the KVPY syllabus is alomost same as JEE mains. But, KVPY exam is easier than JEE mains.

Difficulty level of KVPY aptitude test is lower than JEE Mains. It has different types of question and you can easily crack KVPY by following NCERT books but JEE Mains require somewhat higher level of preparation than NCERT. Kvpy has an interview round too and the interviewer tend to ask question quite similar to 11th and 12th NCERT level. KVPY aptitude test is basically a test of your fundamentals.

Go through previous year papers. It will give you an Idea about the exam & do practise as much you can.

Make your time schedule for study topic & chapter wise.

Make your short notes on difficult topics.

Do revision after completing one chapter.

Level of JEE Main is higher than KVPY exam. You can refer previous year papers to know about the exam pattern and level of exam. If you are preparing for JEE main exam you can easily crack KVPY exam.
