The marking scheme for the NIFT entrance exam is as follows:

1. There are 5 sections in the NIFT question paper- quantitative ability (20 questions), communication ability (25 questions), English comprehension (25 questions), analytical ability (15 questions), and general knowledge and current affairs (15 questions).

2. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

3. The total number of questions is 100.

4. There is a negative marking in the NIFT entrance exam. The student loses 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
