It is difficult to predict the marks as cut off changes every year. Here is the cut off in 2019 for NIT, Trichy under other state quota

• Chemical: 4343
• Civil: 3868
• CSE: 357
• ECE: 967
• Mechanical: 2178
• MME: 6867
• EEE: 1518
• Production: 7162
• ICE: 5227

This was the cut off rank in 2019 round 7. You need to score minimum 110-150 marks depending on the branch to have decent chances of getting seat. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
