I'm assuming you want to know the minimum marks required to get a seat in your hometown itself which is kolkata.
You need score somewhere around 520 (preferably above that) to increase your odds of selection if you are contesting via the 85 % state quota.
However, if you are contesting via the All India 15 %, don't settle for anything less than 570.

With general category,a score around 500 to 550 will confirm your seat, 475 around have doubtful chance

Dear Tithi
If you score anything around 500 that will ensure you a seat via state Quota in this College. However for All India Quota you like require a little extra marks.
Hope your query was addressed.
Good luck.

What do you mean by maximum number if you mean what is the least marks required to get into a government medical college for unreserved category in Kolkata would definitely be above 450 and to be quite sure of a good Government Medical College maybe in excess of 480 to 500 availing the 85% state quota and somewhere above 560 to 580 minimum if you are availing via the all India 15% quota
