Fine soil can be defined as the particles of the soil are in very small size.The soil particle size will be ranges in between 75 microns to 2 microns.The soil particles cannot be seen by naked eye.Fine soil can be identified by its plasticity nature.Fine soil will be smooth,& greasy when touched by our hands.

Fine soil particles are not visible by naked eyes and they are identified on the basis of plasticity. Fine soils particles has a diameter between 75 to 2 microns.
