Hi Sourabh,

In India, board examinations refer to the public examinations that are conducted at the end of the 10th grade education (SSLC), and at the end of the 12th grade education (HSC).

The difference in regular and public exam is,regular exam is conducted by the teacher of your own school and in same school in which are studying now.

But in public examination students may have to take the test in another school which may be common examination centre.

Hope this will help, please feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank You.
