KCET reserves certain seats for the candidates falling in the various categories and KCET Seat Allotment will be done based on the availability of seats, candidate’s choice and the category they belong to.

The codes you have mentioned are the codes used for different reservation provided.

• HK - It means seats reserved for students belonging to Hyderabad-Karnataka region which includes some districts Bidar, Gulbarga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary.

• RK means Reserved category of Karnataka itself which includes SC, ST and OBC etc.

• SPL - It is for Defence category students.
