What is the meaning of,strike out if not applicable, in college application form?

Hey there

The phrase strike out if not applicable means to cut the options which are not necessary for you to fill. For example in the form of college if there are three options: Mr./Mrs./ Ms. So if anyone is Male so he needs to cut the remaining two options Mrs. and Ms. have to tick on the correct option Mr.
