Hi,

To get admission in various government and private medical colleges the candidate are required to obtained the minimum qualfying cutoff. The qualfying cutoff for neet 2020 exam will be declared by the exam conducting authority after the result.

The expected qualifyig cutoff for the year 2020 are as follow-

General -50 percentile

Obc/sc/st - 40 percentile

The cutoff marks required to secure a seat in government medical colleges vary every year as it depend on number of factors like category, number of student applied, number of seat available etc.

However for a general category student 550+ to 600+ marks are required to get a government mbbs seat.

To know your admission chances in various medical colleges based on your marks obtained you can use the neet college predictor tool. The link for which is - https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hey dear, neet cutoff varies every year, last year the cutoff went very high that even students getting 500 were unable to get a govt. Mbbs seat. So, there are cutoff for different courses like for getting mbbs you must score above 550, for bams and bhms above 400 is safe score for getting govt. Medical college.
