Hello,
To join a college in B.Tech program through JEE Main score, you will have to clear 2 different eligibility criteria set by NTA and respective institution.
To be eligible for JEE Main exam, you need 75% marks in Class 12 (or equivalent).
Moreover, there is cutoff on JEE Main percentile set by respective institution.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi there,
First of all according to new pattern admission depends on your percentile score not your marks.
Now if you are aiming to get a seat in any top Nit then your percentile score should be around 97 percentile for open category.
But if you want admission in any other colleges except NITs then 90 percentile would be good for open category.
According to last year analysis you need a marks of 200 for 97 percentile and around 140 for 94 percentile and around 120 for 90 percentile.
I hope this help
