It's a known fact that JIPMER never discloses the marks of the Examinees during the time of Result Declaration, so it actually becomes pretty much tough for candidates to form a strategy and work accordingly.
But, some Examinees and toppers often discuss about their Examination strategy, about how many questions they should attempt and how many might have gone incorrect.
Based upon these facts, it's advised for the Examinees to score a minimum of 700+/800 if you belong to the general category.
The cutoff rank of JIPMER is quite low, 156 to be precise in 2018.
Hence you need to work hard in order to get within the top 150 rankers.
