Hi Candidate,
NTA have not announced any official cut off lists yet, but last year the closing rank fot NIT Surathkal ( for general category/ non home state quota) for mining engineering was around 22768.
To get admission in NIT Surathkal you need to score around 97.4 percentile or more than 170 marks.

If you are within top rankers then definately you will get it.

You will have to score more than 96%ile  or more than 150 marks in JEE mains ,So that your rank lies within thousands and you can easily apply for NIT surtkal.

For each and every branch NIT S have different opening and closing rank.If you wish for core branches like Mechanical,Civil,Electrical,Electronics then definately you need good score and your rank should be within 2000-4000,if you are in general then .
